We specialize in getting your guests involved in the party! From the Chicken Dance to teaching polka/waltz lessons to polka line dances, we cover all the bases. We are available to perform at events ranging from relatively small private parties and family celebrations to large community sponsored Oktoberfests attended by thousands, in either indoor or outdoor venues. Among our regular customers are German clubs, golf communities, officers’ clubs, civic organizations, restaurants, church groups, schools, international festivals, and retirement communities.

The number of performers can be tailored to the size of the event and the preferences of the customer. All performers dress in traditional German costumes, with the men in tracht including lederhosen and the women in colorful dirndls. You can see two different sizes of groups here (click to enlarge)

Band + Dancers

Depending on what you request, we provide costumes, decorated and lighted music stands, an audio system capable of handling almost any venue, and an MC capable of giving a voice to the event.  For an extra charge, we may be able to provide additional decorations for your venue.

Smaller Band

Our band ranges in size from 5-30 members, depending on the performance. The instrumentation is a Bavarian-style "Blasmusikkappelle" with the addition of specialty instruments like cowbells, alphorn, accordion, and vocals.  We cover all the Bavarian standards and perform favorites from other styles as well.

Our dance group is one of our great strengths. Not only can they provide entertainment during the band breaks, but they will get the crowd involved in the party, showing them what they need to know to let loose and have a great time. The combination of band plus dancers can provide many hours of continuous entertainment. For a dance show, you should plan on 6-8 dancers or more; to get the crowd involved, we can make do with 2-4 dancers.

Although we are a non-profit group, you will find that our performance standard is quite professional.  We have a long list of satisfied customers, some of whom have been booking us for more than 20 years running. 

Our rate varies depending on the time of year, time of day, length of performance, and distance to the event from Raleigh, NC.  We do offer discounts for charitable causes or special circumstances, and at certain times of the year.  Make sure to contact our business manager for more information.   Please feel free to call or send email to get an exact quote for your party!

Special Note: Due to the overwhelming positive response from our long-term customers, it can be difficult to book us during Oktoberfest season.  Our October is generally 90% full with repeat customers before the schedule is opened to new performances.  We generally know what dates we'll have open for new Oktoberfest customers by February or March.  We're happy to discuss your event at any time - It's never too early to call!
